Mrs. Joseph Langel Expires at Her Home

Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph Langel, 63, who died Tuesday at her home in America township, will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, June 18, at St. Joseph's Catholic church. She had been in failing health for some time, and was confined to bed last March.

The Rt. Rev Msgr. J. D. Fisch will officiate, and burial will be in Calvary cemetery. The body was taken to the Wiltgen-Luedtke funeral home where friends may call from Thursday evening until service time.

Frances Meyer, daughter of Louis and Kathryn Meyer, was born Dec. 12, 1890 at Dyersville, and came here in 1913. Her marriage to Joseph Langel took place May 6, 1913 at Dyersville. She was a member of the Christian Mothers society.

Frances Meyer was born December 12, 1890, at Dyersville, Ia.

She was married to Joseph Langel May 6, 1913 at Dyersville, Ia., and she had lived with her husband in America township since.

Surviving are the widower, one son, Junior, on leave here now from the United States army in Korea; eight daughters, Mrs. Clarence Albers of Bronson, Ia.; Mrs. Clarence Staab of Hadley, Minn.; Dorothy Ann and Lois Langel of Sioux Falls, and Lorraine, Juliette, Marie and Dula at home; mother, Mrs. Kathryn Meyer of Dyersville; a brother, three sisters and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home from Thursday evening until time of service.
