LOUISA LOCK
---Louisa Lock was born March 30, 1857 and died Tuesday, November 30, 1948 at the age of sixty-one years and eight months. She was born in the state of New Jersey, the daughter of Frederick and Joanna Reulecke and as a child moved with her parents to Assumption, Illinois.
---She was united in marriage to William James Lock in 1870 in Assumption, Illinois. To this marriage was born five children; Mrs. E. B. Gudehus, Edward R. Lock, Clyde C. Lock and Jesse E. Lock of La Plata and Mrs. Anna Traughber of Seattle, Washington.
---In 1906 they moved to a farm north of La Plata where she lived until after the death of her husband in 1914, then she moved to her present home in La Plata in 1920.
---She leaves, besides her immediate family to mourn her departure, two sisters, Mrs. Frank Gudehus of Arlington, South Dakota and Mrs. Emma Michael of La Plata; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
---She united with the Presbyterian Church several years ago.
---Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 2, at Wilson Funeral Home at 2:00. Interment in the La Plata cemetery. Rev. Stanley Tyner will be the officiating minister.
