CORNING - Services will be conducted today for Edrie Tapper of 111 Argonne St. who died Friday, Nov. 25, 1983 at Corning Hospital.
She was born in Corning, daughter of Claude and Agnes Kirby Wright. She married Carl Tapper who died in 1979.
She was a retired employee of the former J.J. Newberry Co., Corning store and member of Emanuel Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Suzanne (Sandy) Clark of Corning and Gwen Halm of Painted Post; three sisters, Juanita Pulver, Claudia Eaton and Frances Putt, all of Corning; one brother, Kirby Wright of Addison; several grandchildren; two aunts and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Phillips Funeral Home today 2-4 p.m. where services will follow at 4 p.m. with the Rev. David Allen officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery.
