Mrs. Katherine Louise Bentzinger, 80, former Donnellson resident, died at 9 p.m. Sunday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She had been in ill health for some time. Mrs. Bentzinger was born June 10m 1877 near Donnellson. On November 12, 1896, at Donnellson, she was married to Henry C. Bentzinger. He preceded her in death October 16, 1957. The couple had resided in Davenport the past twenty-four years. The deceased was a former member of St. Paul Evangelical and Reformed Church at Donnellson and was a member of the First Evangelical and Reformed Church at Cedar Rapids. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Esther Thorne, and Mrs. Edna Hendrickson, Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Ella Roth, Donnellson; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Newman, Kahoka, Mo.; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The body will be brought to the Miller Funeral Home in Donnellson Wednesday morning. funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. thrusday at St. Paul Evangelical and Reformed church. the Rev. J. Sherrill Gohde, Donnellson, and the Rev. E. K. Schneider, Cedar Rapids, will conduct services. Burial will be in Evangelical Cemetery at Donnellson.
