Sarah Herzog passed away Jan. 19, 2005, in Pueblo. Sarah is survived by her husband, Harvey; their four children and five grandchildren. At her request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. today, in the Davis Memorial Chapel. In lieu of food or flowers the family asks that donations in memory of Sarah be made to Hadassah. Donations may be made through the mortuary.

The Herzog family is well-known in Pueblo tennis circles because of the efforts of her husband and children. The family was struck by tragedy in 1995 when the oldest child, Joel, and his two sons, Adam and Seth, were killed in a plane crash in September 1995, while returning from a tennis tournament in Las Vegas.
Mrs. Herzog is survived by her husband and four children: Margaret and Wayne Knight, of Colorado City; Lee and Jessica Herzog, of Palisades Park, Calif.; Michael and Megan Herzog, of Tucson, Ariz.; Tracy and Bill Brodd, of Milwaukee; and daughter-in-law Nancy Herzog. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
