DYERSVILLE, Iowa - Mrs. Rose C. Lammers, 94, of Dyersville, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2000, at Shady Rest Care Center, Cascade.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be a Parish scripture service at 7 p.m.
She was born on March 7, 1905, in Petersburg, daughter of Henry and Catherine (Starmann) Wulfekuhle.
She married Ray Lammers on Dec. 30, 1929, in Petersburg. They farmed in the Petersburg area until their retirement in 1966. Mr. Lammers died in 1968.
Surviving are three daughters, Edith Lammers and Norma (Cletus) Bildstein, both of Dyersville, and Helen Roderberg, of Cedar Rapids; 28 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, Mary Joan Lammers, of Dyersville, and Rita Lammers, of Arcola, Ill.; and a sister-in-law, Cecelia Wulfekuhle, of Dyersville.
She also was preceded in death by two sons, Ambrose and Edward Lammers; nine brothers; and a sister.
