The only child of George Burke and Anna Bergsieker, Louisa married Herman Christian Frevert about 1902. The couple did not have any children.

Herman was the proprietor of a St. Louis grocery store and later operated a chicken farm in Ferguson, St. Louis County, Missouri.

Herman passed away in 1939 at a north St. Louis County nursing home. After that, Louisa lived with her half-sister, Mamie Nolte, for the remainder of her life.

Louisa died of chronic heart disease on Christmas Day in 1943. At the time of her death, she was 71 years, 5 months and 21 days old.

Louisa's body was cremated on 28 Dec 1943 at Valhalla Crematory. In 1944, her cremains were moved to Zion Cemetery in St. Louis County, Missouri.
