Memorial mass services wee Saturday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wickenburg for Gerald Hofbauer, 79, who died Feb. 22 at Wickenburg Community Hospital.
Fr. Thomas Boyle officiated, with interment in a niche at the church.
Mr. Hofbauer was born Oct. 12, 1909 in Maumneetown, Ohio. He had lived in Wickenburg for the past 29 years,.
He was a mechanic at Jones Ford in Wickenburg, retiring in 1972.
He was a charter member of the Wickenburg Sportsman Club, was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society at the church, and a member of the National Rifle Association.
Survivors include his wife, Frances, of Wickenburg; a step daughter, Marjorie Skrumbellos of Wickenburg; a stepson, Charles Parker, of Kansas a City, Kan.; and three nieces in Ohio.
