DEATH TAKES A MOTHER
Mrs. William Windheim died of pneumonia, following an attack of influenza, Friday, Feb. 20. The funeral, conducted by Rev. Noach, was held Monday. Only a few days ago this young woman was a member of one of the nursing classes, taking the course so as to be better able to care for her little daughter, little thinking that she would not be here to give the little thing all the mother's love that she had to give. However Mrs. Windheim seemed to have a horror of pneumonia and realizing it, the fact that she had contracted that disease was kept from her as long as possible.
Miss Ella Thieman was born in Elk Grove Nov. 27, 1886 and came to Arlington Heights with her parents, in 1898. May 3, 1914 she married Mr. William Windheim. She remained at the home of her parents as their care rested upon her. Her father died that year and her mother followed in 1917. A little daughter came to bless this home about two years ago.
There remain to mourn their loss, the bereaved husband, daughter, step daughter, four sisters, a brother and many other relatives and friends. Mr. Windheim's mother has moved to her son's home to care for the little one and to take the place of the departed mother.
