EDWARD O. WESSEL, 59, a retired Shively farmer, died at 5:30 p.m. yesterday at his home on Cane Run Road at Ralph Avenue. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Denis Church. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Clara M. Wessel; three daughters, Mrs. Francis R. Thompson, Miss Jane Wessel, and Mrs. Joseph Hollingsworth; a son, Lloyd Wessel; five sisters, Mrs. Addie Quillman, Mrs. Mike Linnig, Mrs. George Dienes, Mrs. Amos Bauman, and Mrs. Charles Hausman; two brothers, John and Virgil Wessel, and six grandchildren. The body is at Hardy's Shively Funeral Home, 4101 Dixie Highway.

Thompson, Miss Jane Wessel, Mrs. Joseph Hollingsworth and Mr. Lloyd Wessel; brother of Mrs. Addie Quillman, Mrs. Mike Linnig, Mrs. George Dienes, Mrs. Amos Bauman, Mrs. Charles Hausman, Messrs. John and Virgil Wessel; 6 grandchildren. Remains at the W. G. Hardy Shively Chapel, 4101 Dixie Hgwy. Funeral services Friday, August 28, at 9 a.m. at the St. Denis Church. Interment in St. Michael Cemetery. Members of the Holy Name Society will please assemble at the chapel Thursday evening at 8 p.m. to recite the rosary.
