Lindsey Marie Zander, age 22, passed away at her home in Middleton on Wednesday, February 9th, 2011.

Lindsey was born on May 31, 1988 in Madison, WI, the daughter of Kevin and Laurie (Paulson) Zander.

She graduated from Middleton High School in 2006.

After high school Lindsey studied at MATC. Lindsey became a CNA at UW Hospital where she thrived doing what she did best- helping others.

Lindsey enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, bowling, volleyball and softball.

She was a member of The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 501.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, her sense of humor and her willingness to lend a hand.

She is survived by her mother, Lori [Paulson] Zander of Middleton, her father Kevin "Tanker" Zander of Cross Plains, and her brother Kyle Zander.

Lindsey is further survived by her grandparents Doris and Phillip Zander of Cross Plains, her grandmother Eleanor Paulson of Madison and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her grandfather Richard Paulson precedes her in death.

Funeral Services will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, located at 5701 Raymond Road, in Madison at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 14, 2011, with Reverend Rodney Hank presiding.

A Visitation will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Sunday, February 13, 2011 from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

A Visitation will also be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Monday, February 14, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lindsey's name may be made to National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Dane County; [email protected].

The family would like to express their gratitude to the medical professionals for all their support and care throughout the years.
