Marie E. Reinl, 96, formerly of New Holstein and a resident of Vallhaven Care Center of Neenah passed away at the Care Center Friday, June 28, 1996.
She was born Sept. 2, 1899 in the Town of Brothertown, Calumet County, a daughter of the late John and Anna Achter Puetz. She attended grade schools in Chippewa County and was a homemaker. On July 18, 1922 she married John Reinl at St. Charles Catholic Church in Charlesburg. He preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 1966.
She is survived by one daughter, Betty (Orville) Ross of Neenah; five grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Marvin, and by one brother, John in 1918 in France during World War I.
Funeral services were held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein with Rev. Patrick Lloyd officiating.
