Mrs. Anna K Puetz, 91, of 2319 Prospect St., New Holstein, died at noon Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Reinl, with whom she made her home.
She was born June 3, 1869 in Charlesburg, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Achter. She attended the Charlesburg School and on October 23 1894, married John Puetz. She had lived in New Holstein for the last 35 years.
She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church,New Holstein, and was a member of the Christian Mothers Society.
Her husband preceded her in death July 29, 1939, and a son John Jr., was killed in combat during World War I.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church following brief rites at the Erbe-Hoffman Funeral Home, The Rev. Lambert Scanlan, pastor, will be celebrant of the requiem Mass and burial will be in the St. Charles Cemetery at Charlesbug.
