Anna John, 89, of 51 Fourteenth avenue S. W., widow of Frank J. John, died Saturday after a long illness. Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, June 24, 1877, she came to the United States in 1882 and moved to Cedar Rapids from Little Falls, Minn, in 1908.
Surviving are a son, Franklin John, of Los Angeles; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services: Wednesday at 9 in the Janeba-Kuba funeral home and 9:30 in St. Ludmila's church by the Rev. A. L. Zachar. Burial: St. John's. Rosary at 7:30 Tuesday at the funeral home, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Tuesday.
