Graveside services for Mrs. Maude Cobb, 90, of Fresno, widow of Gorge M. Cobb who founded Cobb Hardware at Palm and Shields Avenue will be held today at 11 a.m. at Belmont Memorial Park.
The Harry Palm Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Cobb was a native of Missouri and she had lived in Fresno County nearly 52 years. She died Thursday in a local rest home. Her husband, who died in 1959, was also a former deputy assessor of the county. Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Ruth Johnson of Fresno, two sons, Earle M Cobb of Clovis and Ray B Cobb of Fresno, a sister Miss Nell Vincent of Colorado and brother Roy Vincent of Texas; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
The family requests remembrances be sent to the San Joaquin Gardens memorial fund.
