Wilhelmine HENRIETTA Warnke was born in Mariendorf, Filehne, Posen, Prussia. She was the daughter of Gottlieb Warnke and Eva Rosina Stolz. She was baptized in Ehrbardorf, Filehne, Posen, Prussia.
Henrietta married Christoph Stephan Lieske in Minettenruh, Filehne, Posen, Prussia in Gross Kotten on September 23, 1847. In 1853 they came with their 3 young sons, to America. Ship arrival records suggest they arrived on July 20, 1854, on the ship John Bull from Liverpool.
Christoph, also known as Stephan, was the son of Michael Lieske Sr and Anna Maria Weckwerth. He collapsed and died shortly after the boat docked in New York.
Wilhelmina married Michael Gabbert in Ohio. In addition to Henrietta's 3 Lieske sons, she and Michael had 4 daughters: Bertha Dimmerman, Emma Gabbert (whose husband Fred, was a twin to wife of half-brother A.L Lieske) Alvina Arborgast & Pauline Fohrer.
