Funeral services were held at the Christian church in Belle today for Thomas Danuser, 85, who died at the home of his son, Chris, south of here Saturday. The Rev. Ralph S. Lambert officiated and burial followed in Liberty Cemetery.

He was born in Switzerland on May 7, 1864 and came to this county in 1887. In 1892, he returned to Switzerland and married Miss Ursula Buesch. After the marriage, the couple returned to this county.

Survivers include two sons, Chris and Walter, both of Belle, and two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Schwartz and Mrs. Bonnie Siems, both of St. Louis; Mrs. Lizzie Rogers, Owensville, Mrs. Dora Buckman, Los Angeles, CA and Mrs. Laura Gehlert, Belle. He was a member of the Christian Church of Belle for many years and had lived on a farm south of here since 1901.
