Carol Ann Baker Barnhart

Carolyn Ann (Baker) Barnhart, 59, of Morris, died Sunday, January 11, 2004 in Tulsa, OK. Memorial services are 2:00 Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at the Kelley Chapel with Dr. Dennis Taylor officiating. Arrangements are under direction of the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
She was born Tuesday, March 14, 1944 to Orval and Gladys Irene (Walker) Baker in Rooks County, Kansas. On September 15, 1963 she married Jerry Barnhart in Logan, Kansas. She was a member of the Myers-Heeler V.F.W. Post #1360 from November 1975 until her death and served two terms as president 1982 to 1983 and 1985 to 1986. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, and three sisters.
Survivors include her husband Jerry Barnhart of Morris; one daughter, Reva Tipton of Morris; two sons, Robert Barnhart of Liberal, Kansas and Roger Barnhart of Kansas City, Missouri; two sisters, Ella Bahr of Topeka, Kansas and Lee Koester of Miles City, Montana, three grandchildren and eight nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorials be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, Ohio 44720.
