Born in Muleshoe, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Henry Thomas Montgomery and the late Vera Idel Hawkins Montgomery.
She was united in marriage on Jan. 2, 1951, in Albuquerque, N.M. to Kenneth James Scott who preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 2007.
She is survived by her three children, Lonny Lee Scott (Pat), Michael Kenneth Scott, and Steven James Scott (Marta), all of Southampton; three special friends, Janet Gonzales of West Palm Beach, Fla., Dawn of Utah, and Flo Ekstrand of Wisc.; two sisters, Emily Russell and Jane Scaggs, both of Peace Valley, Mo., and also seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one on the way.
She was a member of the Curry Street Church of Christ in West Plains, Mo.
Memorial services and interment were held on Feb. 26, 2011 in the Barnett Cemetery in Howell Co., Mo.

Juanita Marie Scott, 78, Peace Valley, Missouri, died February 20, 2011 at OMC, West Plains. She was born the daughter of the late Henry Thomas Montgomery and Vera Idel Hawkins Montgomery, on March 11, 1932 in Muleshoe, Texas.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Barnett Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri.
She was united in marriage January 2, 1951 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Kenneth James Scott, who preceded her in death January 24, 2007.
