Mrs. Harry Smith, N. R., Dies Today
Funeral services for Mrs. Harry (Amanda) Smith, 59, New Richland, will be held at the First Congregational church in New Richland on Monday at 2 p. m. A family service will be at the Friedrich Funeral Home at 1:30.
Mrs. Smith died today (Friday) at 4:30 a. m. at Naeve hospital, Albert Lea, following an illness of three weeks.
Survivors include her husband, four sons, one daughter, nine grandchildren, four brothers and five sisters.
A complete obituary will be published in next Wednesday's Waseca Journal. Friedrich's Funeral Home, New Richland, is in charge of arrangements.

Rites at N.R. Monday for Mrs. Harry Smith; 59
Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p. m. at the Congregational church in New Richland for Mrs. Harry Smith, 59, New Richland, who died Oct. 18 at Naeve hospital, Albert Lea, following an illness of three weeks. Interment was in St. Peter's cemetery. Pallbearers were Walter Reb, William Nock, Jacob Hoelz, Harold Echternach, William Sullivan and Elmer Rasmussen.
Amanda Jeddeloh Smith was born June 3, 1898 in New Richland, the daughter of the late Fred and Bertha Jeddeloh. She attended New Richland public schools. On April 8, 1919, she was married to Harry Smith of New Richland.
Survivors include her husband, four sons, Donald, Dale and Thomas, New Richland, and Richard, Dodge Center; one daughter, Mrs. Clayton Walstrom (Harriet), New Richland. Four brothers, Ted, Mishawaka, Ind.; August and Albert, New Richland and Otto, Waseca; and five sisters, Pearl Jeddeloh, Faribault; Mrs. Donald Kaiser (Ethel) and Mrs. Kenneth Cole (Mable), Waseca; and Mrs Elmer Schlekau (Alice), and Mrs. Herman Gehloff (Edna), Princeton, also survive. One brother, Carl is deceased.
