Our sweet loving mother was born March 3, 1928 in Grossalmerode, West Germany to Wilhelm and Anny Franke. She passed away March 12, 2011 in Salt Lake City, Utah. After suffering through World War II in Germany, Helga realized her dream and immigrated to the United States at the age of 22. She lived most of her life in New Jersey where she married Kenneth William Jamititus. They were married for 35 years and raised two children. Her life was her children. When they moved away, she became the nanny to a handful of other families. Helga was also an avid gardener and loved to cook. She recently rekindled a special friendship from her high school days with Walter. She is survived by her brother, Willie Franke; dearest friend, John Marchiagni and her children, Kenneth Jr., and Heidi. Preceded in death by their father, Kenneth Sr. just six weeks ago. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, March 19th, 2:00 p.m. at Cottonwood Memorial Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Drive, with a visitation one hour prior for family and friends.
