Wyoming County Times, January 10, 1963. Louis H. Higgins, 96, a retired farmer of Dale, died Friday in the Wyoming Rest Home following a long illness. He was a lifetime resident of Dale. His wife, Julia Roeper Higgins died in 1961. He leaves a son, Roeper of Warsaw, four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Carrie Hammond of Seattle, WA. Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 Sunday afternoon in the Weeks Funeral Home by Rev. Donald Weaver of the Methodist Church. Burial was in Warsaw Cemetery
