KINSEY, Mrs. Benjamin, of Berrien Springs,
Mich., was born Christina Sophia Klumpp, on
Oct. 19, 1877, in Washtenaw County, Mich.,
and passed away at her home, 143 Grove St.,
on Sunday morning, March 17, 1963.
She married Benjamin Kinsey on Sept. 25,
1893. Ten children were born to this union,
seven of whom are living. They are: Mrs. C.
Sansonetti, Maywood, III.; Oris L. Kinsey, South
Bend, Ind.; Eld. F. J. Kinsey, West Des Moines,
Iowa; Mrs. Arthur Morrison, Noblesville, Ind.;
Robert Wesley Kinsey, Germfask, Mich.; Lloyd
E. Kinsey, Los Angeles, Calif.; and Walter J.
Kinsey, Sturgis, Mich.
Four brothers and three sisters also mourn
her passing. They are: Otto Klump, Shepherd,
Mich.; Matthew Klump, Dexter, Mich.; Ernest
and Walter Klump of Mt. Pleasant, Mich.;
Mrs. Louise McNutt, Winn, Mich.; Mrs. Wesley
Merrill, Mt. Pleasant, Mich.; and Mrs. John
Fraser of Ann Arbor, Mich.
Her husband and three sons, Raymond, Thomas, and Benjamin, Jr., preceded her in
death.
She joined her husband in becoming a mem­
ber of the Seventh-day Adventist Church 61
years ago.
Sister Kinsey was laid to rest in Rose Hill
Cemetery at Berrien Springs, Mich. Funeral
services were conducted by Elders J. H.
Rhoads, and M. C. Sawvel, pastors of the
Pioneer Memorial Church of Andrews Uni­versity.
