Funeral Services were held at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Monday March 28, 2011. He was born to Ronald D. and Geraldine Velma (Genry) Kimmel.
Bernard worked at General Motors retiring after 35 years of service with the company. He also was part of the UAW committee for 15 years.
Bernard was a graduate of Owosso High School. He enjoyed oil painting and art, listening to music and playing the guitar. He was considered a History Buff and enjoyed reading the Bible and Sharing the Word.
He is survived by his daughter Brigida Kimmel and son Eric Kimmel; two grandchildren Pharron Kimmel and Benicio De La Cruz; brothers Glenn Kimmel and Don Welch; sisters Janice (Ralph) Cuellar, Dianna (George) Way and Gloria Robinson; many nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
Bernard is predeceased by his parents, grand-daughter Gianna De La Cruz, and brother Ron Kimmel.
