Sylvia passed away peacefully on March 20, 2011 surrounded by her family.
She was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada to Alphons and Albertina Saladin.
Predeceased by her husband Dwane; son Stephen, sister Mary; brother Richard; and her parents. Survived by her children Kate (Grant), Howard (Heidi), David, Nancy (Duane), Ron (Kelvin), and Jeff (Kirby); and her grandchildren Rickey, Beau, Andy, Alyson, Tim, Maddie, Michelle, Philip, and Claire. Also survived by her brother Harold (Kathleen); sisters Rose and Marlyn; and several nieces and nephews.
Our mother was a wonderful person who devoted her life to her husband and raising her children. She enjoyed being a homemaker and visiting her family in the Northwest. We will all miss her sweet and kind nature. We love you mom and will miss you a lot.
Friends and family are invited to a Funeral Mass on April 1, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. in Holy Rosary Church, 1313 A Street, Antioch.
Burial will follow immediately in Holy Cross Cemetery.
