Mrs. Anna E. Fegley, 83, wife of Walter Fegley of 503 South Fifth street, died at 5:05 a.m. Sunday at the Adams county memorial hospital. She had been in failing health for the past year, and hospitalized two days.
She was born in Harrison township, Van Wert county, May 20, 1888, a daughter of Gottlieb and Antoinette Schaadt-Kirschenbauer, and was married to Walter Fegley Nov. 16, 1913.
Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Roy (Marie) Gaskill of Convoy, O., Mrs. Ernest (Helen) Bittner of Convoy route 1, and Mrs. Leonard (Betty) Egley of Decatur; four sons, Herbert Fegley of Payne, O., Paul Fegley of Jerome, Mich., Donald Fegley of Quincy, Mich., and Glen E. Fegley of Decatur; two brothers, Lester Kirchenbauer of Van Wert, and Harold Kirchenbauer of Ohio City, O.; 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. One daughter, there brothers and two sisters are deceased.
Funeral rites will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Zwick funeral home, with Rev. William C. Feller officiating. Burial will be in the Evangelical Protestant cemetery in Harrison township, Van Wert county. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today until time of the services.
