Andrea Weiler, 39, of 7462 Armstrong Road, Manlius, died Friday at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo.
Born in Monticello, Mrs. Weiler lived in the Syracuse area for the past 20 years.
She graduated from Syracuse University in 1979 with a bachelor's degree in sociology and received her master's degree in social work from SU in 1980.
Mrs. Weiler was a certified social worker. She worked at Loretto Geriatric Center, the Jewish Home of Central New York and as a private geriatric care manager.
She was a member of Congregation Beth Sholom-Chevra Shas and the sisterhood of the temple.
In 1988, Mrs. Weiler received the Young Leadership Award from the Syracuse Jewish Federation.
Surviving are her husband, Robert of Manlius; three daughters, Rebecca, Sara and Hannah, of Manlius; her parents, I. Monis and Sylvia Brafman of Monticello; four brothers, Matthew of Oswego, Kenneth of Fulton, Ari of Westfield, N.J., and Benjamin of Coral Springs, Fla.; a sister, April Katz of West Orange, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are 10 a.m. today at Congregation Beth Sholom-Chevra Shas, 5205 Jamesville Road, DeWitt. Burial is in the Beth Sholom-Chevra Shas section of Oakwood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. at the synagogue.
