Mrs. Yankevich was born in Inglewood, Calif., Oct 28, 1957, to Walter and Helen Branzovich Martin. She was a 1975 graduate of Sharon High School and attended Shenango Valley Campus, Penn State University.
Mrs. Yankevich was co-owner of A.W. and Yankevich Recyclers, Wheatland. She was a Hermitage Democratic committeewoman and president of La Leche League. She was former vice president of Sloga Tamburitzans, Farrell, and a member of Karavan Ukrainian Dancers.
Surviving are: her husband, Alexander L. Yankevich, whom she married Jan. 21, 1975; five daughters, Fiona, Tasha, Nika, Vessa and Alissa, all at home; and three sons, Phillip, and twins born Wednesday; her parents of Sharon; a sister, Valerie Martin, Sharon; and maternal grandmother, Frances Branzovich, Inglewood. A son, Lex, died in 1979. A sister, Melynda, also preceded her in death.
