He suffered a cerebral hemorrhage on April 16 that caused his death last Thursday at his home in Los Angeles, California. He was born April 18, 1868 at Palatine, Cook county, Illinois and came to Nebraska as a young man. "Here he met and was married to Louisa Beckman, who preceded him in death June 29, 1919. They were the parents of three children, Walter and Harry, who died in early childhood, and Alma, who is now Mrs. Daniel Deutche." He was survived by his daughter, 2 grandsons Daniel Theodore and Richard Henry Deutche, 7 brothers: William, Emil both in South Dakota; Paul, Otto, John, Fred, Albert all at Creighton; 4 sisters: Mrs. Hilda Chandler at Battle Creek, Mrs. Martha Cretencord in Florida, Mrs. Bertha Schalnus in Colorado, Mrs. Caroline Rosenthal at Leroy, Minnesota.
