Mrs. Johanna Lauscher, 79, died Sunday morning at 6 o'clock at St. Nicholas hospital. Death was due to old age, although the deceased had been ailing for the past ten weeks. She was taken to the hospital a few weeks ago.
She was born in Germany, 1839, and came to America many years ago.
She was married to William Lauscher, who preceded her In death in 1912. Mr. and Mrs. Lauscher made their home In Kewaunee, and after the death of her husband, Mrs. Lauscher came to Sheboygan, and since then had lived with her daughter, Mrs. A. Altmeyer. On July 1 the Altmeyer family moved to Sheboygan Falls, and Mrs. Lauscher was removed to the hospital here.
Mrs. Lauscher Is survived by two children, Charles Trost, Green Bay, and Mrs. A. Altmeyer, Sheboygan Falls; and one brother, Albert Trost, Kewaunee.
The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Mary's Catholic church, Sheboygan Falls, and burial will be made in the Sheboygan Falls cemetery. The pall-bearers will be Martin Foster, Adolph Trier, Joseph Wild, Joseph Seiberlich, Benjamin Phalen and Otto Hoest. The members of the G. A. R. of Sheboygan will attend in a body, Mrs. Lauscher having been a member of that organization for a number of years.
