Afterwards he was employed in the train service at Osawatomie, Kansas, until his death, which occurred August 21, 1908. Aged 22 years, 2 months and 2 days.
He united with the Methodist church at this place.
He leaves a wife, one child fourteen months old, a mother, two sisters, Lucy and Georgie, two half sisters, two half brothers and other relatives and friends to mourn his loss.
The funeral was conducted by Albert L. Young from the home of John Acrea, August 23 at 2:30 p.m. and the remains were laid to rest in the Greenwood Cemetery.
