ernis Moore of McDowell, died Wednesday, March 24, 1999, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, following an extended illness. Born April 21, 1925 in Dony, he was the son of the late John and Rilda Lambert Moore. He was retired from the railroad. He is survived by his wife, Oma Elliott Moore.Other survivors include two sons, Clyde V. Moore of Taylor, Michigan. and Vemis B. Moore of Ashtabula, Ohio; six brothers, McKinley Moore of Cincinnati, Ohio: Ballard Mosley of Minnie; Tharp Mosley of Jefferson, Ohio, Ray Mosley of Detroit, Michigan, F_x/gel Mosley of Ashtabula, Ohio,Worley Mosley of Michigan; six sisters, Palestine Horn of Ashland, Tina Gomer of Florida, Delma Hambrick of Waverly, Ohio, Shirley Daughtry, Violet Lucas and Evelyn Caudill, all of Michigan; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 27, at noon, at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home in Martin, with ministers of Old Regular Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the DavidsonMemorial Gardens at lvel.
