Mrs. Edie Grimm Pinning, beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend, died Saturday, April 16, 2011, at her residence. She was 76.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at Pinckard United Methodist Church with Reverend Anthony Tutor and Dr. Delbert Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson uneral Home directing.
The family will be receiving friends at the church from 1 to 3 P.M. Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Flowers will be accepted.
Mrs. Pinning was born June 21, 1934, in Schopfloch/Nbg, Germany. She became a U.S. Citizen in 1956. Widowed in 1974, she remarried and settled in Pinckard in 1986.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fritz and Elsie Grimm of Germany, and brother, Herbert Grimm.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Pinning, daughter, Patty Flowers Parker and her husband, Bob of Enterprise; sisters, Hildegard Voehl, Hannelore Kaercher and her husband, Wolfgang, niece, Sabine Barlic and family, nephew, Thomas Voehl and family, nephew, Uwe Kaercher, step-grandson, Austin Parker, dear friends, Van and Hilde Vandagriff, and her caregiver, Martha Crabtree.
Pallbearers will be Matt Shoemake, Tom Phillips, John Crawford, Norman McKnight, Milton Cuizon, and Zack Kelley.
