Elda Rene Thibodeaux Myers
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011 at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Estherwood for Elda Rene Thibodeaux Myers, 69, who died April 20, 2011 at American Legion Hospital in Crowley.
Fr. Donald Pousson will be officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Friday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to the time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Lyons Point.
She is survived by two daughters, Felisha Ann Myers of Midland, and Kimberly Ann Myers of Midland; two sons, Donnie Blaine Myers and his wife, Danielle of Midland, and Treg Blake Myers and his wife, Cheryl of Estherwood; eleven grandchildren, Nikki Landry, Lance, Heidi, Dewey, Alexis, Morgan, and Garrett Myers, Lindsey Sonnier, Brooke, Christopher and Brittany Klumpp; one great-granddaughter, Rylee Claire Myers; and two brothers, Joe and Trimmie Thibodeaux both of Lyons Point.
Mrs. Myers is preceded in death by her husband Walter "Manny" Myers; her parents, Clarence and Alia Vincent Thibodeaux; and one brother, Burnell Thibodeaux.
