Henry Alt, sr., 69, of 148 West G, died Saturday afternoon. He had worked as a machinist's helper for the Union Pacific railroad for 34 years, retiring recently.
Born in Russia, he had lived in Lincoln 36 years. Mr. Alt was a member of Frieden's Lutheran church and the American Forward association.
Surviving are his wife, Mollie; sons, Henry, jr., John, Robert and Harry; daughters, Mrs. Philip Kruse and Mrs. Henry Hergenrader, and five grandchildren all of Lincoln.
