She died 10:42 a.m. Sunday, May 8, 2011, at The Carpenter House. She was 81, a native of Hessmer and resident of Central.

Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Wednesday, May 11, from 9:30 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m. in the chapel, conducted by Chaplain Chris Roussell. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

She is survived by three daughters, Reba Plaisance, Kay Pierre and husband David Pierre, and Teena Welborn and husband William Ronnie Welborn Jr.; eight grandchildren, Lauren McGee, Julie Plaisance, Karen Plaisance, Janaé Verrett, Amanda Lipinski, Adam Calais, Katie Welborn and Sawyer Welborn; nine great-grandchildren and two great- great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Reefe J. Aymond; two daughters, Ramona St. Romain and Gay Calais; and two grandchildren, Kimberly St. Romain and Spencer Welborn.

Pallbearers will be David Pierre, Ronnie Welborn, Marvin Roy, Olen Gary, Sawyer Welborn and Adam Calais.

She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Carpenter House, 10615 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70809.
