Mrs. Elizabeth Brenneman, 91, died Saturday evening at 8:20 a the home of Mr. And Mrs. Charles Fritz, Mummasburg, following an illness of two weeks of influenza.
She was born at the old Boyer homestead in Butler township, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Sherk Boyer.
She was married twice, her first husband being the late John Rife, and her second husband, the late Noah Brenneman.
Surviving are three brothers Tobias Boyer, York Springs RD; Martin Boyer, Butler township, and John Boyer, of Kansas.
She was a life-long member of the Mummasburg Mennonite church.
Brief funeral services at the Fritz home, Tuesday afternoon at 2:00, with further services in the Mennonite church, the Rev. A W Meyer, pastor of the church, and Bishop Noah Mack, of New Holland, officiating. Interment in the Mummasburg cemetery.
