Daughter of Louis and Victoria Elizabeth DeLaunay. She married Thomas Whaley August 14, 1853 at Church of the Ascension on 4th Street in NYC. She died in the Whaley House where she had raised their 6 children. It is said her ghost haunts the house. Her daughter, Ann Amalie Whaley, who married her first cousin,John T. Whaley, son of Henry Hurst Whaley, is buried in Modesto Citizen's Cemetery in Modesto- see also Whaley House Museum (San Diego) http://whaleyhouse.org/familyhistory.htm
