After Fredrick's death, Elizabeth married widower George Franz Wilhelm Weygandt on Sept. 23, 1855, in . They resided in Belleville and had five children of their own, plus Charles from her first marriage.

George is listed in the Millstadt Business Index as a cooper in 1860 and 1864 and he also farmed. The family attended Zion Evangelical Church in Millstadt.
