From the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Monday, August 7, 1911, p. 2:

Mrs. M. C. Dixon, 51, died on Monday morning at the family residence in Shaw Heights. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. W. L. Whitsel and one son, Robert Dixon. The funeral will be conducted from the family residence Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, with interment in Greenwood cemetery.
