She was born January 14, 1950, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Belvard "Pete" Poplin and the late Josephine Barnett Adams.
She was a teaching assistant at Verity Middle School.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday,be June 10, 2011, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland, by Pastor Mike Rice. Burial will be in Barnett Cemetery in Greenup County.
