Frieda Richards, 82, of Lodi, died Nov. 17, in Lodi. She was born on May 3, 1917, in Streeter, North Dakota.
Mrs. Richards attended school in Streeter. She married Christ Zimmerman in 1940 and they moved to Lodi in 1952. Mr. Zimmerman died in 1959 and she married Harvey Richards in 1964.
She was a retired retail clerk for Purity Stores. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross Blood Bank in Vallejo for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lodi. She enjoyed sewing and shopping.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey Richards; daughters: Etola Slaughterbeck and Charlotte Zimmerman; and three grandsons.
A memorial service was held at Lodi Funeral Home. Committal will be private.
