The funeral of Dave Gandy was held Friday morning at the Methodist church with the Rev. R. B. Hill officiating. Dave Gandy, who has been a unique figure in this vicinity for many years, died at the age of 86 years at the Aurora hospital following an operation. For over 15 years he had been janitor of the schools and he has not only faithfully attended the duties he was paid for, but exercised a care and supervision of the children that was not resented by them.
