His parents were Jan Kipp and Jannetje Berry. Albert married Rachel Beam (daughter of Jacobus Beam and Adriantje Hoppe). They had at least two children named John I. and Albert A.. Around 1850 Albert and Rachel were living in New York City, New York (source: 1850 U.S. Census). Albert probably died there.
