Driver Killed As Car Rams School Bus
A small car crashed into a school bus in Novato yesterday, killing the small car's driver.
Dead at the scene was Christine Hinton, 21, of Novato. Her passenger, Barbara Linger, 23, a roommate, is in the intensive care unit of Marin General Hospital with head injuries and cuts.
A 7 year old boy, one of seven children on the school bus, got a bump on his head but did not require treatment.
The School bus was driven by Valerie Hansen, 46, who was not injured.

At the time of her death, Christine was the long time girlfriend of David Crosby of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, a well known rock group.
