Funeral services for Donald Teykl, 57, of Needville, were held Tuesday, March 20, at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Needville. The Rev. Richard Avery officiated. Burial followed in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
Mr. Teykl died Sunday, March 18, 1990, at Polly Ryon Hospital in Richmond. He was born April 21, 1932 in Needville.
He is survived by wife, Mrs. Vallie Liebscher Teykl of Needville; mother, Opal Teykl of Needville; four sons, Don Allen Teykl and wife, Jan, of Rosenberg, Phillip Ray Teykl and wife, Diane, of Needville, Kim Patrick Teykl and wife, Janice, of Needville and Murray Scott Teykl and wife, Susan, of Needville; five grandchildren, Keli Shaunne Teykl, Amber Teykl, Todd Tyler Teykl, Teri Tennile Teykl, and Kristi Nicole Teykl, all of Needville; two step-granddaughters, Christy Halas and Jennifer Halas of Rosenberg; one brother, Louis Darrel Teykl of Needville; two sisters, Sally Anderson of Richmond and Iris Dusterhoft of Houston; and several nieces and nephews.
