Matt J Consbruck was born near Ayr and moved to Kenesaw in 1935. He owned and operated Matt's Place in Kenesaw for 30 years. He moved to Good Samaritan Village in 1977.
He was a volunteer fireman and a member of the Kenesaw Saddle Club. He served one term as Justice of the Peace in Kenesaw.
Survivors were five daughters, Evelyn Loskill, Elaine Pittz, Helen Walker all of Hastings, Darlene Halbmaier of Campbell and Joan Runyan of Kenesaw; one sister Rose Moore of Albuquerque, NM and two brothers John J of Hastings and Charles of Waterloo, Ia; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
