Notes for AUGUST STORCK:
August was one of the promoters of the Washington County Telephone Company. After the sons took over the Brewery, August served as company treasurer. He was chief of the Slinger Fire Department from 1906 to 1914. August also served as village president from 1913 to 1918 and from 1920 to 1922. In 1907 he built and resided in the house at 109 Storck Street. After his retirement, August and Hermanda bought a home on Fox Lake. He was a lover of nature, and built several elaborate bird houses and kept the birds well fed.

Notes for HERMANDA RISCH:
Hermanda was stricken with diabetes and was in ill health the last few years of her life. She enjoyed "the good life", especially spending time with her grandchildren.
