Aged 42 years
Mrs. Ryan Passes Away.
After a short but very painful illness Mrs. Elizabeth Ryan passed away Wednesday morning about 6 o’clock. She leaves four children and a large circle of friends to mourn her loss. Since the death of the husband, the oldest and only son, Frank, now in his twentieth year, has been the main support of his mother and three sisters and now the death of the mother adds doubly to these responsibilities. Mr. Ryan was a soldier and Mrs. Ryan has been drawing a small pension. This mite, fortunately, will continue to the three dependent daughters. Louisa is the oldest girl, now fifteen. The other two children – Catherine is twelve years and Bessie seven years of age. The funeral will take place from the Catholic church this afternoon at 2 o’clock. Friends will gather at the house and assist in arranging for the funeral.
