Sheryl Sandra Graber, 24, and her son Andrew Scott Graber, 5, of 911 North F. died Tuesday evening in their home.

Sheryl was born July 15, 1962, in Marion, Kan., to Kenneth and Anita Rigler. She grew up in Muskogee, where she attended public schools and graduated from Muskogee High School in 1980. She attended Connors State College and worked at Janey Cagle's Flowers for nearly 10 years. Sheryl was a very sensitive, caring person who was always doing things for others. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Andrew Scott Graber was born March 4, 1982, in Muskogee. He attended Kiddie Kampus Pre-school. He attended Trinity United Methodist Church.

Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church with Dr. Vernon Lawrence officiating. The burials will be in Greenhill Cemetery under the direction of Petering Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Joe Harper, Johnny Evans, Darren Graber, Rudy Terrell, J.C. Trent, James Trent, Randy Gehring, Paul Jones, Lyle Bibb and Joe Russell.

Sheryl is survived by her parents Kenneth and Anita Rigler of Muskogee; one brother, Jim Rigler, of Muskogee; two grandmothers, Mary Rigler of Oklahoma City and Emma Flickner of Moundridge, Kan.

Andrew is survived by his father, Tim B. Graber, of Keefton; grandparents, Leonard and Juanita Graber of Moundridge and Kenneth and Anita Rigler of Muskogee; three great-grandmothers, Adina Kehbiel of Moundridge, Mary Rigler of Oklahoma City and Emma Flickner of Moundridge.

Sheryl and her son Andrew were murdered by Michael Edward Long, who was sentenced to death and executed on Feb. 20, 1998.
